MAGLITE is used by the military, police, You and Me, for a good reason.. It is quality, solid quality that lasts forever and with this new LED cells I am more than happy.
This maglite is not as powerfull as the old maglights but has more hours since it is low energy LED. The beam of course is not as strong as the old maglites, but I can live with that. I am just glad I finally have one with LED. I recommend this product in deed..

USA !!! For that, I wanted this to be my favorite. But there is a humongous (HUGE!) black hole in the center of the beam at any focus other than the tightest spot, which for me was an absolute deal buster. No brighter or better than my Rayovac 3-watt 3C unit, ($24 at Menards) which is great!,except for no focusing

I have 3 LED MAG lights, the 4D cell, 3D Cell and 2D cell. Of the three the 3D Cell gives the brightest light … the other two have a similar brightness.
Tried the 3D Cell LED by Newton … doesn’t even compare … more of a novelty … MAG lights are of very good quality.

I have owned several Maglight products, but this is the first LED Maglight. The product you want when your flashlight absolutely must work.

Excellent and typical Maglite product. The LED bulb is extremely bright and the unit has a backup conventional bulb in its base. Very long battery life with the LED bulb.
